The SkillBridge Scholarship Program is a scholarship initiative by Tech4Rural designed to provide ambitious young people with access to world-class online courses through the Coursera platform.

Through this program, over 400 Nigerian youths will receive sponsored access to professional courses in high-demand digital fields — equipping them with the knowledge, certifications, and confidence to compete in today’s global digital economy.

Eligibility

We are looking for:

Young Nigerians (17-35 years old)
Individuals with access to a smartphone or laptop
Applicants with internet access
Motivated individuals willing to commit at least 10hrs weekly
Youths eager to complete at least one professional certification

No prior tech experience is required — only commitment and consistency.

During the 4-month fellowship, you will learn skills including:
Data Analysis, Digital Marketing, IT Support, Cyber Security, Project Management, UI/UX Design, Software Development, AI Automation, Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing & E-commerce, etc.

Gain access to a network of mentors

Enjoy opportunities for career development and internships through mentorship.

Build a portfolio of tech projects

During the course of the program, through case studies, you will work on different exciting projects which you will use to create a stellar portfolio.

Receive a certificate of completion

Upon graduation from the SkillBridge Scholarship Program, you will be awarded a professional certificate of completion from Coursera, which you can showcase to potential hiring managers.
